Temp Skill System for PvP
This idea was first thought out just days before they announce the PUP (PvP Unlock Pack). It was design as a way for easier skill usage for PvP, to reduce the unlock grind. However, with the PUP, it seem obsolete, but would still like to post it up for critic.
-------------------------------------------------------
Temp Skill System for PvP (I know, it’s a horrible name, but can’t think of a better one)
The idea is this. With a PvP character, when talk to the Priest, you have one more option beside unlocking a skill, and that is to get that skill for Temp use. You could get that skill for a cheaper Faction cost (100 B.factions, for example), which will let you get that skill added to your skill belt. However, this is not unlocking. Thus if you take that skill off your skill belt, or exit out of Battle Isle, that skill is lost, and you would need to pay yet another 100 B.faction to get it back.
This is design so players could have a easier way of trying out different skill combos, which add to the meta game as well as the over all enjoyment. It reduce the grind if you just want to try a build, as well as reduce certain dependency on PvE. Of course, since you can only use that skill for short while or only in certain builds, in many case, it is still best to get the unlock skills, and just have it as a try-out.

mmm....
why would you unlock a skill temporarily....
Just unlock it... 1k faction ~ but you can use it anytime you want. I mean why 100faction for temporary use? whereas you can get one permanently.

Well...maybe your guild is doing some gvg and need you to do a certain build but you dont have 2 of the skills unlocked yet and only have 400 faction at the moment so you use the temporary option to get those skills for that gvg battle then unlock it after the battle when you have the faction.

Method:
1. Log on PvE character.
2. Map travel to end-game city with skill trainer, Fire Island or Unwalking Waters.
3. Buy skills from NPC.

I think the idea was that this would be used for Elite Skills.
I don't see someone grabbing a PvE character to cap a skill right before GvG.
